Sparkling Hill Resort: A Dazzling Wellness Retreat

What We Thought

Overlooking the stunning Okanagan Lake, Sparkling Hill Resort in Vernon, British Columbia, became my sanctuary of wellness and luxury. The resort’s unique design, infused with over 3.5 million Swarovski crystals, was visually enchanting and utterly rejuvenating.

My room at Sparkling Hill was a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation. The modern, open-concept space boasted floor-to-ceiling windows that flooded the room with natural light, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The two-person soaker tub was an indulgent touch, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. And sinking into the custom wellness bed felt like drifting into a cloud of comfort.

One of the things I appreciated most about Sparkling Hill was its adult-only policy, which ensured a serene and tranquil atmosphere throughout the resort. It was the ideal setting for a restorative getaway, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the experience of relaxation and self-care.

The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the KurSpa, a comprehensive wellness space offering over 100 different treatments. From massages to facials to hydrotherapy, there was no shortage of ways to pamper myself and nurture my well-being.

In the mornings, I would make my way to the PeakFine Restaurant, where I indulged in an exquisite à la carte breakfast. Fresh juice, a selection of teas and coffees, and delicious culinary creations provided the perfect start to each day, setting the tone for hours of exploration and relaxation ahead.

And of course, the location of Sparkling Hill Resort was truly unparalleled. Surrounded by the majestic Monashee Mountains and overlooking the sparkling waters of Okanagan Lake, every moment spent outdoors felt like a feast for the senses. Whether I was watching the sunrise over the mountains or basking in the glow of a sunset by the lake, the natural beauty of Vernon never failed to leave me in awe.

Overall, my experience at Sparkling Hill Resort was nothing short of transformative. It was a harmonious blend of luxurious amenities, breathtaking scenery, and unparalleled wellness offerings—a true sanctuary for the body, mind, and soul.

Downtown Vernon is a vibrant hub of activity, with quaint shops, cozy cafes, and local galleries lining the streets. The historic buildings stand as a testament to the town’s rich heritage, while the bustling energy of the farmers’ market showcases the bounty of the region’s agricultural offerings.

One of the highlights of Vernon is its stunning outdoor scenery. With sparkling lakes, lush vineyards, and rugged mountains all within reach, there’s no shortage of opportunities for outdoor adventure. Whether it’s hiking through the tranquil forests of Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park, cycling along the scenic Okanagan Rail Trail, or simply lounging on the shores of Okanagan Lake, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

But Vernon isn’t just a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts; it’s also a haven for foodies and wine lovers alike.
