Knox Mountain, where nature’s beauty unfolds at every turn. From its highest point, towering some 300 meters above the glistening waters of Okanagan Lake, to its tranquil shoreline stretching along the western boundaries, this park is a cherished landmark embraced by both locals and visitors alike.

As I traverse through the park, I am mesmerized by the diversity of ecosystems that call Knox Mountain home. From lush shoreline vegetation to rugged mountain terrain, each step unveils a new facet of the Okanagan’s natural wonders.

Knox Mountain calls adventurers of all kinds, offering a plethora of activities to suit every taste. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll along one of the park’s 11 pathways, a brisk run through the winding trails, or a challenging hike to the summit, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy. Birdwatchers delight in spotting feathered friends among the trees, while sightseers soak in panoramic views of the city below.

One of the park’s most beloved features is its dog-friendly policy, allowing furry companions to roam leash-free and frolic amidst the beauty of nature. It’s a joy to watch them bound through the grass, their tails wagging with unbridled excitement.
